Technion Party Hosts Shlomo Drori Shlomo Drori of the Dead Sea Works will be the speaker at the 43rd Annual Party of the Detroit Chapter Technion Society 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at ClubLand, 2111 Woodward, Detroit. There is a charge. Shlomo Drori is the director of the Information Depart- ment of the Dead Sea Works. He came to Palestine from Vienna in 1938 as part of the illegal Jewish immigration. As member of the Jewish Brigade in the British Army, he wrote several hit songs and became a "Troubadour." While performing at the opera house in Bari, he was reunited with his mother, a Holocaust survivor, whom he brought to Palestine. Since 1957, Mr. Drori has been part of the Senior Management of the Dead Sea Industries. For information, call the Technion office, 737-1990.
