Project Issues
More Loans

The Neighborhood Project
of the Jewish Federation has
issued as many home incen-
tive loans from January
through September as in all
of 1990.
Eighty homes were pur-
chased so far this year with
the aid of the interest-free
loans in neighborhoods in
Oak Park and Southfield —
15 more than during the
same period last year.
Sponsored by the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit, The Neighborhood
Project has made 449 home
incentive loans to date.
Any Jewish home buyer
purchasing a residence
within the Neighborhood Pro-
ject boundaries may be eligi-
ble for an interest-free loan.
An applicant needs to qualify
for a mortgage and plan to
live in the house. The Hebrew
Free Loan Association par-
ticipates as the lending
agency.
For information, call
the Neighborhood Project,
967-1112.
