Jewish Federation Apart-
ments has elected new of-
ficers and directors for
1991-92. Re-elected to a se-
cond term as president was
Janet Birnkrant Levine.
Gerald 0. Brody, Howard
Rosenberg, Nathan Upfal and
Jack Zwick were elected vice
presidents; Lauren Liss,
secretary; Rose Roth, assis-
tant secretary; and Arnold
Cohen, treasurer.
Elected for a second three-
year term to the board were
Roselyn Blanck, Jan Hauser,
Dr. James E. Labes, Marvin
Novick, Rick Rosenhaus and
Alan A. Singer. Elected for an
initial three-year term were
Carolyn Borman, Arthur
Friedman, Marjorie Kras-
nick, Rabbi David Nelson and
Rose Roth. Elected to the ad-
visory committee was Gilbert
Silverman.
A long-time advocate for
the elderly, Mrs. Levine has
been a board member of
Jewish Federation Apart-
ments since 1980 and a vice
president since 1987. A com-
munity volunteer for the past
three decades, she was the
1980 recipient of the Jewish
Federation's Sylvia Simon
Greenberg Young Leadership
Award.
