Rabbi Nelson will speak on "A Look at the Future of Christian Jewish Relations." A kosher buffet lunch will be served. Rabbi Nelson has been in- volved in the Muslim-Jewish- Christian clergy trilogy at the Greater Detroit Interfaith Round Table and the Ecumenical Institute for Jewish and Christian Studies along with many long-term relationships in the Protes- tant and Catholic communi- ties. Birmingham Temple Sets Story Hours The Birmingham Temple will host a Shabbat story hour for children ages 3-6 11 a.m.-noon Oct. 19, Nov. 9 and Dec. 4. Parents and young children can celebrate a cultural and Humanistic Shabbat with songs, stories, ethical values and Shabbat challah. There is no charge. Aish HaTorah, in coopera- tion with the National Jewish outreach program will spon- sor five-week Hebrew crash courses. Both introductory and intermediate levels will be offered. The introductory class will meet at Young Israel of Southfield on Tuesday nights, 7:30-9 p.m. beginning Oct. 29. The course will be taught by Mrs. Debbi Wrotslaysky. For graduates of the first level reading program, or for those who want to better their skills, the second level course will be held at Ohel Moed of Congregation Shomrey Emunah in West Bloomfield Monday nights 7:30-9 p.m. beginning Oct. 28.
