The Senior Adult Depart-
ment of the Jewish Corn-
munity Center of Metro-
politan Detroit Maple-Drake
"Women On The Go" will pre-
sent a lively discussion on the
"Women's Role In Judaism" 1
p.m. Oct. 16 in the Allen
Lounge. Panelists Carolyn
Greenberg, Barbara Cook,
Leah Ann Kleinfeldt and
Marilyn Rowens will repre-
sent the Reform, Conser-
vative, Orthodox and
Humanistic branches of
Judaism. There is a charge
for non-members.
A senior adult drawing and
painting class will begin a
six-week series 10 a.m.-noon
Oct. • 15 taught by Harriet
Gelfond.
"Joys of Yiddish" will be
held 1 p.m. Oct. 15 in Room
239. Entertainer Max Sosin
and accompanist Rose Ber-
man will share songs, stories
and anecdotes in Yiddish.

variety of media. Hearing im-
paired participants may be
assisted by sign and/or cued

ticipants will have the oppor-
tunity to share their ex-
periences and resources with
