The conference will include a Shabbat experience which will offer women the oppor- tunity to pray, study and meet together. Guests will include Dr. Ismar Schorsch, chancellor of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, and Rabbi Mayer Rabinowitz, Jewish Theological Seminary librarian, who will serve as scholar-in-residence during Shabbat. Rabbi Rabinowitz will present a lecture series on the topic "Who Shall Live, Who Shall Die and Who Shall Decide." The conference theme, which will focus on The Noah Principle: Turning Obstacles into Opportunities, will be conducted at four area synagogues. On Saturday evening, humorist Lila Green of Ann Arbor will relate her imaginary experience of at- tending an afternoon tea with the Queen of England at Buckingham Palace. At the Sunday afternoon session, trigger scripts por- traying potential obstacles in Jewish family living will be presented and discussed by the delegates. The Monday plenary session will be devoted to this theme and will feature discussion led by area rabbis on the topic "Ethics in the Media."
