Haifa. He served in the IDF
and graduated from the
department of political
science and Middle Eastern
studies at Haifa University.
Mr. Koren joined the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in
1983. He became second
secretary at the Israeli Em-
bassy in Katmandu, Nepal, in
1985 and later vice consul at
the Consulate General in
Alexandria, Egypt.
