Larry Strager, 63, of West
Bloomfield, died Sept. 24.
He was the founder and
owner since 1983 of L.S. Steel
Corp. in Detroit, but had been
in the steel business since
1960. He had a steel
warehouse supplying steel for
auto related industry. Mr.
Stager was a second degree
Mason, a 35-year member of
Temple Emanu-El and was
Edgewood Country Club
seniors champion in 1990.
He leaves his wife, Ber-
nadene; daughters and sons-
in-law, Amy and Stephen
Scapelliti of Bloomfield
Township, Patricia and Gary
Blackman of Chicago, Ill.;
. son, Jonathan of Beverly
Hills, Mich; father, Sol;
brother and sister-in-law,
Norman and Adele of Birm-
ingham; sister, Phyllis
Kellman of West Bloomfield;
one grandson.

Sholom Post and a member of
the Zionist Organization of
America.
She leaves her husband, Dr.
Maxwell; two sons and

Ira and Meredith of Rockville,
Md.; a daughter and son-in-
law, Pamela and Dr. Howard
Lazar of Bloomfield Hills; two
brothers and a sister-in-law,
