Howard Korman were mar-
ried recently at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Rabbis Efry Spec-
tre and Morton Yolkut of-
ficiated along with Cantors
Larry Vieder and Ben-Zion
Lanxner.
Michal is the daughter of
Rachel and Amiel Galazan of
West Bloomfield. Howard is
the son of Toni and Martin
Korman of Arlington
Heights, Ill., formerly of
Southfield.
Ronit Galazan, sister of the
bride, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Julie
Galazan, sister of the bride,
Lisa Korman, sister of the
groom, Sherri Way, sister of
the groom, Christine
Obregon, Theresa DiTrapani
and Becky Rohtbart, cousin of
the groom.
David Mintz was the best
man. Ushers were Dennis
Keane, Steve Lupovitch, Joel
Ben-Moche, Joe Sipher, David
Berg, Daniel Rohtbart, cousin

Jamie Tobias was the

After a honeymoon in
Israel, the couple are residing

Brunch And Learn
At Midrasha
The Midrasha-College of
Jewish Studies, a division of
the Agency for Jewish Educa-
tion, will co-sponsor a Brunch
and Learn series with the
Community Jewish High
School, United Hebrew
Schools, Congregation Beth
Abraham Hillel Moses, Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek and
Temple Shir Shalom monthly
on Sunday as of Oct. 6.
The program, entitled
"Tehila — The Glory of Study
— Raising a Jewish Parent,"
is a seminar dedicated to the
parents who wish to play an
active role in their children's
Jewishness.
Refreshments will be serv-
ed at 9:15 a.m., and the pro-
gram will run from 9:30
a.m.-11 a.m. It will be led by
Rabbi Elimelech Goldberg of
the Young Israel of South-
field.
On Oct. 6 and Nov. 17, Rab-
bi Goldberg will speak on
"Are Dinosaurs Kosher?"
On Dec. 1 and Jan. 5, the
topic will be "The Pleasure
Principle and the Jewish
Soul."
On March 1 and April 5 the
topic will be "Time is of the
Essence" and will include
discussion on questions of
Jewish practice.
The seminar will be held at
the United Hebrew Schools
Building. There is a charge.
