Yeshiva Gedolah
Plans Annual Event

Robert Orley will be the
1991 recipient of the Yeshiva
Gedolah Scroll of Honor at
the Yeshiva Gedolah Annual
Event 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center.
In recognition of this honor,
David and Doreen Hermelin
hosted a pre-event parlor
meeting at their home last
night.
Robert Orley grew up in
Detroit and attended the
Cranbrook School. He receiv-
ed his undergraduate degree
from the University of
Michigan, his law degree
from the Detroit College of
Law and a master's in tax
from Boston University. His

Midrasha Hosts Program

The Midrasha-College of
Jewish Studies and Con-
gregation Beth Shalom will
co-sponsor a course entitled,
"Para-Professional Training
Program" 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Wednesdays Oct. 2-Nov. 20 at
Congregation Beth Shalom.
The course will provide
basic skills which can be us-
ed in caregiving, shiva leader-
