Fantasy Festival
Held In Holly

The Twelfth Annual
Michigan Renaissance
Festival will celebrate Fan-
tasy through Sept. 29 from 10
a.m. to 7 p.m. in Holly,
Michigan.
Music and dance weekend
will be Sept. 14, 15. Minstrels
and dancers will set the tone
on the Lipton International
Dance Stage. The Echoes of
Ukraine Dance Ensemble
will perform on Saturday and
Kitty Heinzman's Ceili
dancers will follow with tradi-
tional festive dances of
Ireland on Sunday.
Ngoma Za Amen Ra will
perform throughout the
village. Musically inclined
visitors will be invited to
Stump the Royal Court. Win-
ners will have a chance to win
gift certificates from Har-
mony House when they belt
out songs unknown to the
King and Queen.
Exciting and daring jousts
will take place 12:30, 3:30
and 5:30 daily in Upson
Downs. The Michigan
Renaissance Festival is
located one mile north of Mt.
Holly, Inc. on Dixie Highway
between Pontiac and Flint.
