This Sunday, the Jewish Community Center will be spon-
soring a pre-Sukkot poster contest as part of the community-
wide Apples & Honey event. It is designed to celebrate you
and your family. This is your invitation to bring your en-
tire mishpacha to spend some wonderful-hours together. The
contest and Apples & Honey will take place at the JCC's
Maple-Drake facility in West Bloomfield. Families in all
shapes and sizes, from single parent families and blended
families to multi-generational families are all welcome to
complete the poster and join in on the fun!

*In the top half draw, photograph, or make a
collage of your family. In the branches add
grandparents or special relatives that you would
like to include. Or you might add decorations
for the Sukkah.

*Underneath the picture describe the fruits of
your family: The things that make your family
special. Write it in prose, poetry or song (even a
rap) in English, Hebrew or Russian.

*Bring your poster with you to the Center. It along
with all of the other posters will be displayed in
the Center's Sukkah. Some of the posters will be
sent to the Jewish Community Center Associa-
tion in New York City to represent the Center at
the biennial convention of the centers of North
America.
