From the sporty, swingy coat to the luxurious full- length look, fur buyers will not be disappointed. The newest trend is the exciting texture and colors in furs. Sheared furs dye well and have a light, supple look. The coloration added to the shearlings is a fashion statement this fall. Sheared mink, nutria, beaver and muskrat are popular. John Tunis of Brickerainis Furs in West Bloomfield reports that his Italian collection will be filled with colorful, sheared furs. "We have all colors imaginable," said Mr. Tunis. Mike Ceresnie of Ceresnie Offen urs in Birmingham echoes the colorful statement this season. "The red is brighter than ruby and the blue is electric," said Mr. Ceresnie. He also mentions hunter green as a popular choice. "There is an array of colors," states Martin Malter of Malter Furs in West Bloomfield. He cites the blacks and reds as stunning and rich, while an aubergine — eggplant — color is equally exciting.
