Centers Offer
Bridge, Dance

Beginner and intermediate
bridge classes are starting at
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center. Some will
begin on Oct. 7 in the even-
ing; others will start Oct. 8 in
the afternoon.
For fee and registration in-
formation, call Shirley Siegal,
661-1000, Ext. 335. All
classes will meet for 5 weeks.
Dance classes are offered at
both center buildings. The
Dancing Center classes at
Jimmy Prentis Morris will be
Tuesdays, 9:15 a.m. and 1:15
p.m. — "Creative Nursery
Dance" with Harriet. For
grades 1 through 3 at 4:30
p.m. on Tuesdays, there is the
"Creative Dance" with
Karen. On Wednesdays at
1:15 p.m., Linda teaches the
"Creative Dance" to 3 and 4
year olds and at 2:15 p.m. to
the 5 year olds. At 10 a.m. on
Tuesdays there are the "Tues-
day Troupers" for adults and
at 7 p.m. the "Israeli Dance
Drop-In."
The classes at Maple-Drake
are tap, ballet, jazz, pre-school
and creative dance for 3- to
10-year-old students. The
adult dance classes are begin-
ner to advanced tap, beginn-
ing jazz, Oriental belly,
modern, ballet, contemporary
ballroom and the Festival
Dancers troupe. Classes are
offered Monday through
Friday.

Kadima Plans
Fundraising Event

Kadima's fundraising event
"Join in the Laughter III"
will be 7 p.m. Sept. 15 at Vis-
A-Vis, 40 West Pike Street,
Pontiac.
There will be a buffet din-
ner, dancing to the music of
the Jerry Fenby Big Band,
and humor created by come-
dian Roger Peltz.
Kadima is a non-profit
social service agency in
Oakland County serving
adults with mental illness
through residential pro-
grams, job supported pro-
grams and outreach services.

Brunch, Meeting

Lt. Roy F. Green Auxiliary
