behalf of Magen David Adorn,
Israel's national emergency
medical, blood and am-
bulance service in peace and
war, for their support of life-

saving programs locally and
in Israel.
The Starkmans are
founders • of the Michigan
Region of Magen David Adorn
and Dr. Starkman has served
as chairman of its medical-
dental council for many years.
Betty Starkman is secretary
of the organization.
The Starkmans serve on
the Jewish Community Coun-
cil and are affiliated with the
Zionist Organization of
America, Jewish National
Fund, Allied Jewish Cam-
paign, Technion, Jewish War
