Direnfeld Memorial Scholar-
ship. Students at institutions
of higher education in the
metropolitan area should
send letters of application to
the B'nai B'rith Hillel Foun-
dations of Metropolitan De-
troit, 667 Grosberg Religious
Center, Wayne State Univer-
sity, Detroit 48202.
There is no application
form; letters of application
should outline the student's
qualifications for the scholar-
ship. The Catherine Direnfeld
Scholarship is presented an-
nually to an undergraduate
or graduate student who is a
member of a Hillel founda-
tion, and is based on
academic strength, need and
service to the Jewish 'com-
