screen, television and the
night-club _circuit, and his
9-year-old daughter, Dorin,
will headline the program of
ZOA's 58th annual Balfour
Celebration and concert set
Nov. 3 at the Masonic Temple
theater auditorium.
Co-starring with Mr. Giladi,
will be the American vocalist,
Julie Budd, and Detroit's
David Syme, who will render
a musical tribute to his
father, Rabbi M. Robert Syme,
who is slated to receive ZOA's
Brandeis award in the course
of the program.
Moti Giladi has produced,
directed and starred in a
musical comedy Yiddishe
Gesheften (Jewish Business).
Julie Budd has been a
featured performer in Las
Vegas, Atlantic City and
nightclubs world-wide.
Proceeds of Balfour 58 will
be used to sustain and expand
ZOA's projects in Israel, for
the operation of the Israel Ad-
vocacy Center in New York
and for the development of
the ZOA-Masada Summer in
Israel programs. Major
beneficiaries are the Kfar
Silver educational center in
Ashkelon, Israel, and the
American-Israel cultural
center, the ZOA House, in Tel
Aviv.
