Baltimore are his most
direct sources of competi-
tion, with Los Angeles, San
Francisco and New York
comprising a different
league.
Mr. Lichtenstein's favorite
Detroit show remains Zorba
with Anthony Quinn. For
four straight weeks he made
certain to catch a little bit of
it each evening.
"I just couldn't get enough
of it," he said.
While Mr. Lichtenstein
hopes to expand his theater
interests, perhaps exploring
those smaller venues, he
remains content in what he
calls "a very exciting job."
"It's not the same business
day in and day out," he said.
"Each show is a new experi-
ence."

Ridgedale Players will
celebrate its 60th anniversary
this fall with a season featur-
ing a musical retrospective
and the revival of one of the
comedies, Arsenic and Old
Lace, in November.
The musical revue, entitled
The Music Goes 'Round, will
feature a sampling of songs,
comedy and fashion from the
1930s through the '80s. It will
be presented in a dinner
theater setting for four perfor-
mances. Opening night will
be Sept. 6, with shows on the
7th, 13th and 14th. Dinner
will be served at 6:30 p.m.
with an 8 p.m. curtain.
The season will include
Social Security (a modern
comedy by Andrew Bergman),
Working (a musical comedy
by Stephen Schwartz and
Studs Terkel) and The Unin-
vited (a ghost story by Tim
Kelly).
For ticket information, call
the Players, 644-8328.
