Bais Yaakov puts on the finishing
touches as it prepares to open its
new school at the former
Congregation B'nai Moshe.

hose members of Congregation B'nai Moshe
would have trouble recognizing the interior
of their former Oak Park shul. But on August
28, over 400 Bais Yaakov students will call the
Sally Allan Alexander Beth Jacob School For
Girls home. With about a year of renovation and just
over $1 million in renovation costs, the building has
been transformed from a synagogue to a pre-school
through grade 12 school. The new school will be open
for the public to view from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday,
Aug. 28.
