Rabbi Ungar
At B'nai Moshe

Rabbi Michael Ungar is
returning to Congregation
B'nai Moshe to officiate at the
congregation's 1991 High
Holiday services. Rabbi
Ungar, a fourth-year student
at the Jewish Theological
Seminary, is part-time rabbi
for the Huntsville (Ala.) Con-
servative Synagogue.
He is the son of Seymour
and Sharlene Ungar. Mrs.
Ungar is past president of the
synagogue.
The 28-year-old rabbinical
student has made several
visits to the Middle East and
has lead youth groups on
tours of Israel and Poland. He
"grew up" at B'nai Moshe and
was very active at the
synagogue as a teen-ager.

Beth Achim Sets
Film, Services

Congregation Beth Achim
will present At the Cross-
roads: Jews in Europe Today
10:30 p.m. Aug. 31 at the
synagogue. The film is a
documentary about Jewish
life in Europe written by Yale
Strom.
Following the film, refresh-
ments will be served and Can-
tor Max Shimansky will lead
Selichot services at midnight.
There is no charge for the
program.
