Nachas is that special pride you feel when someone you nurtured and supported does well. Nachas is what parents feel when their child becomes bar or bat mitzvah after training at Congregation Beth Shalom Religious School. As the young man or woman chants not only the haftarah but also the maftir- and often the entire musaf service—the 'welling in the sanctuary becomes almost palpable. Congregation Beth Shalom graduates know what it means to be a Jew in today's world. They enjoy their Judaism and they're proud of it. 'Palk to our faculty, students and parents. They'll tell you why... It's better at Congregation Beth Shalom. Registration is now being taken for September classes (and there's a discount for early payment).
