Traditionally, Wedding Cakes have been nice to look
at but nothing special to eat. Our Wedding Cakes put
an end to that!
Tantalize your guests with flavors such as
chocolate mousse, strawberry, kahlua, lemon,
chocolate charnbord torte, or one of our many
cheesecake flavors.
Our Wedding Cakes are made from the finest
chocolates, butter, fresh fruits and creams. To
enhance the subtle flavors, we frost your
selections with lightly sweetened fresh
whipping cream.
We extend an invitation to the bride
and groom to make art appointment
for arivate ivedding consultation and
complimentary sample tasting.

of senior citizens as a spe-
cial-need group in mind. Ms.
Bandalane now makes her
home in Florida, teaching a
similar class at a Florida
JCC. She returns to Mich-
igan each summer, filling in
for Ms. Starr at the Jimmy
Prentis Morris JCC.
When the workout phases
from stretches to hand
weights, eyes roll with the
introduction of more difficult
moves. And although not
everyone can keep up the
pace, they all keep moving.
"That's what it's about,"
Ms. Bandalene said.
"Circulation, flexibility and
a basic movement pattern."
Ms. Bandalene and Ms.
Starr notice a marked im-
provement in individuals
who attend three times a
week. This includes most of
the class.
"When they go for
physicals, their doctors say,
`Whatever it is you're doing,
go back and keep on doing
it,' " Ms. Bandalene added.
Several years ago, Ger-
trude Pritz of Southfield
began experiencing pain in
her left leg. She received
limited relief through the
efforts of her orthopedic
surgeon. Rather than accep-
ting her fate of pain, Ms.
Pritz began exercising. She
said most of the pain is gone
now.
Unlike Ms. Pritz, 85-year-
old Bertha Merzon of Oak
Park started attending the
program two years ago —
before experiencing the
effects of aging.
"I'm getting to be an old
lady and I don't want to
show it," Ms. Merzon said. "I
also have 12 great-
grandchildren I have to keep
up with."
In the aerobic section of
the workout, participants
exercise in circles and lines,
often joining hands and
massaging each other's
shoulders after completing
the sequence.
"People get a chance to
touch each other and hold
hands," Ms. Starr said.
"This is nice for people who
otherwise do not get a
chance to do this."
