Saul Cohen, of Lauderdale
Lakes, Fla., formerly of Oak
Park, 80, died July 27.
A kosher butcher for more
than 50 years, he was a
former partner at Dexter-
Davison Meat Market. He
was a member of the Mason's
Surfside Lodge, the Scottish
Rites Shriners, Mosaic Lodge
Detroit, a former member of
Donald Fox B'nai B'rith
Lodge, a member of Jewish
War Veterans Post 135 and a
life member of the Disabled
American Veterans of
Florida.
He is survived by his wife,
Sarah; daughters and sons-in-
law, Gloria and Jim Stark of
Grand Rapids, Marlene and
Jerome Lipman of Oak Park;
brothers and sisters-in-law,
William and Celia of Oak
Park, Ben and Ethel of South-
field; sister, Minnie Haking of
Oak Park; four grand-
children.

Edwin Rosenthal, Jr., 77, of
Southfield, died July 27.
Mr. Rosenthal was a
stockbroker with Rodecker
and Co., a captain in the U.S.
Air Force during World War
II, where he earned the
Distinguished Flying Cross,
and a member of Franklin
Hills Country Club.
He leaves his wife,
Charlotte; sons, Ed Rose of
Comptonville, Calif., Richard
of New York City; stepsons,
Scott Fisher of Long Beach,
Calif., Fred Fisher of Los
Angeles, Calif.; sister, Louise
Newman of Franklin, two
granddaughters.
