Oslin and Exile with guest the Desert Rose Band will per- form 8 p.m. July 28 at the New Pine Knob. The winner of three Gram- my Awards and the woman named Female Vocalist of the Year by both the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music, Ms. Oslin crafts music that is both soothing and invigorating. Exile's conversion to coun- try after the success of their No. 1 smash pop hit "Kiss You All Over," enabled the band to triumph in another musical genre. Chris Hillman & the Desert Rose Band blend Southern charm and California sophistication. Accompanied by a laser show, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will perform 8 p.m. July 29 at the New Pine Knob. The DSO and laser com- pany Bennett-Ross, Inc., have teamed up to custom-design every detail of music and laser effects for this production. YES will perform 8 p.m. Ju- ly 30 at the New Pine Knob. YESSHOWS '91 will feature Jon Anderson (vocals) and Chris Squire (bass), Bill Bruford (drums), Steve Howe (guitar), and Tony Kaye (keyboards); plus Rick Wakeman (keyboards), Alan White (drums) and Trevor Rabin (guitar).
