The Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan
Detroit and Jewish Ex-
periences for Families host
"Summer Sundowners" in
the Discovery Room, a hands-
on Young Family Museum in
the Maple-Drake Jewish
Community Center.
Summer Sundowners is an
opportunity for parents and
their pre-schoolers to share
an evening which will include
crafts, stories, games, and a
chance to explore the
Discovery Room.
Jewish storytelling with
Marilyn O'Connor Miller and
her puppet will be July 23.
Loie Meeron will perform her
musical sing-a-long July 30.
"Here's What's Cooking" will
be Aug. 6 with easy Jewish
recipes for the very young.
Summer Sundowners will
be held 6:30-8 p.m. There is
an admission charge. Op-
tional dinner from 6-6:30 p.m.
is available for an additional
fee.
Summer Sundowners is co-
sponsored by Jewish Ex-
periences for Families, an
organization in the Jewish
Community Center which
serves to cultivate and enrich
the Jewish family.
