died July 10. She leaves her
son and daughter-in-law, Mor-
ton and Dorothy Steinhart of
Oak Park; daughters and
sons-in-law, Laura and Milton
Kohn of Hillside, N.J., Shirley
and Saul Rubenstein of Pitts-
field, Mass; 12 grandchildren;
nine great-grandchildren. In-
terment Detroit.

FALL, 54, of Birmingham,
died July 12. She leaves her
sons, Dr. Noel and Alan;
mother, Rose Kanfer of Bir-
mingham; brother Morton

Ernest White,
Postal Worker

Ernest J. "Ernie" White,
74, of West Bloomfield, died
July 14.
Mr. White worked for the
post office for 37 years, in the
hearings office in employee
relations. He also worked for
the area race tracks for 42
years.
A member of Local 79 Ser-
vice Employees for Race
Track Association, Mr. White
was past executive director of
American Sub-Contractors
Association and Construction
Association of Michigan. He
was a member of Branch 1 of
the National Association of
Postal Supervisors, active
with Senior Power Day for
Southfield, a panelist of the
American Arbitration In-
stitute and a member of the
Retired Service Volunteer
Program, Temple Kol Ami,
Mosaic Lodge 530 F & AM,
Harry B. Keidan Lodge of
B'nai B'rith and the Founders
Society of Detroit Institute of
Arts. He was past president of
Grosse Pointe Numismatic
Society.
He leaves his wife, Lorraine
Libby; son and daughter-in-
law, Dr. Joel White and Susan
Friedman; daughters and
son-in-law, Gayle Diane and
Robert Meyers and Trudi
Marlene White; five grand-
children.

Jeanne Roberts,
ORT Member

Jeanne Schiller Roberts, 73,
of Southfield, died July 13.
Mrs. Roberts was a member
of Temple Beth El, ORT,
Hadassah and Franklin Hills
Country Club.
She leaves her sons and
daughters-in-law, Wallace
and Susan Roberts Jr., Ronald
and Janice of Boca Raton,
Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-
law, Ralph and Jeanne
Schiller Jr. of Bloomfield
Hills, S. Howard and Cynthia
Schiller of West Bloomfield;
five grandchildren.
