A founding member of Adat Shalom Synagogue and Men's Club, he was a 63-year member of Congregation Shaarey Zedek, a member of Pisgah Lodge B'nai B'rith, and a supporter of United Hebrew Schools, Bicur Cholem Hospital in Jerusalem, the Jewish Na- tional Fund and the Jewish Home for Aged.
