$3,000 limit applies to in-

ing a new one, and up to 30

DANIEL L. ADELSON of
Southfield received a
bachelor's degree from
Brandeis University in
Waltham, Mass., at the uni-
versity's 40th commencement
exercises. Mr. Adelson ma-
jored in international rela-
tions, was advertising mana-
ger of the student newspaper,
a dormitory resident adviser
and a teaching assistant in
the German department. He
is the son of Dr. and Mrs.
Seymour S. Adelson of
Southfield.
ARNOLD GOLDSMITH,
son of Maurice and Belle
Goldsmith of Huntington
Woods, has been selected
1991 Teacher of the Year in
McLean, Va. He teaches
government to seniors at
Langley High School and at
the Northern Virginia Com-
munity College.
HANNAH ELBINGER was
the recipient of the National
Association of Business Clubs
scholarship award for ex-
cellence in achievement as a
music therapy student at
Wayne State University. Ms.
Elbinger of Oak Park also
does freelance piano playing
