were 1991 recipients of
the Jewish National
Fund of Greater Detroit's
Keter Shem Tov — Crown of
Good Name Award on June
18 at Congregation Shaarey
Zedek. More than 600
patrons attended the dinner-
dance in their honor.
After the cocktail hour, the
evening began with Cantor
Harold Orbach leading
the national anthems and
Rabbi Paul Yedwab giv-
ing the invocation. Irving
Nusbaum, master of cere-
monies, and Sue Ellen
Eisenberg, JNF Council
president, reminded the au-
dience of how JNF helps
with new housing for the
Soviet and Ethiopian Jews
settling in Israel. Other
speakers included Mark
Schlussel, president of the
Jewish Welfare Federation,
Richard Joel, international
director of B'nai B'rith
Hillel Foundations and
Rabbi Daniel Syme, vice
president of the Union of
American Hebrew Con-•
gregations. Rabbi M.
Robert Syme presented the
award.
The family tribute by sons

at the first installation of the
board of directors of Hakol,
the younger branch of the
National Council of Jewish
Women.

Shelley Milin; secretaries,
