Torah Learning
Done By Mail

Torah learning, in a cor-
respondence course, is being
offered by EYAHT T.E.C. In-
stitute of the EYAHT College
of Jewish Studies for Women
in Jerusalem.
Designed for men or women
who want to increase their
knowledge of Judaism, the in-
stitute courses can be tailored
to any environment and any
study pace. Each three-month
course can be taken in
20-minute or 60-minute daily
units, on beginning, inter-
mediate, or advanaced levels.
The subjects include: Bible,
Jewish Law, Parsha (weekly
Torah portion), Megillot,
Jewish philosophy and Jew-
ish history. Rabbis and
teachers at EYAHT in Jeru-
salem, who recorded their lec-
tures for these courses, will
review and return the
question-and-answer booklets
to correspondents.
Each course costs $15 for
overseas participants. Tapes
and recommended textbooks
must be purchased
separately.

Resettlement Group
Elects Board

Resettlement Services held
its annual meeting and in-
stallation at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek.
The 1991-92 executive com-
mittee of the board of direc-
tors is Marcy Feldman, presi-
dent; Anaruth Bernard, vice
president; Milton Zussman,
secretary; Jeannie Weiner,
treasurer.
The executive committee
members-at-large are Ber-
nard Mindell, Barbara
Nusbaum, Herbert Schein
and Lucille Weisberg. Ber-
nard Stollman, immediate
past president, was elected
chairperson of the 1991-92
nominating committee.
New members elected to the
board of directors for a first
three-year term are Nancy
Garber, Rose Schlussel, Lud-
milla Vulman and Betsy
Winkelman.
Re-elected to the board of
directors for additional terms
are Sidney Feldman, Dorothy
Mazer and Milton Y.
Zussman.
Elected to the Resettlement
Service advisory committee
are Esther Klein, Bess
Krolik, Dr. Peter G. Shifrin,
Rabbi Lane Steinger, Phyllis
Stern, George Tarnoff, Ruth
Wayne and Ruth West.
