elected president of Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Serving
with Dr. Maisel on the
synagogue's 1991-92 ex-
ecutive committee are: vice
presidents Sanford
Eichenhorn, Sharon Hart;
secretary Jack Rubin;
treasurer Sidney Feldman
and members at large: Joel
Golden, Terran Leemis and
Beverly Liss.
Newly elected to the
synagogue's board of trustees
are: Ronald Charfoos,
Leonard Siegal and Neal
Zalenko. Elected to the Adat
Shalom Memorial Park board
of trustees are: Mel Foster,
Richard Ketchel, Donald
Scharg and Ralph Woronoff.
The decree ordering the ex-
pulsion of the Jews from
Spain in 1492 has never
been officially repealed. The
Spanish monarch, Juan
Carlos, has promised to
abrogate it on March 31,
1992, the 500th anniversary
of the expulsion.
