The class will meet five afternoons a week. These children will be able to come to the AJE for lunch and stay the afternoon. Class sizes will be limited to eight children. The program will focus on first grade readiness skills in language arts, math, science and social studies along with hands-on experiences, special field trips, and creative play. Since the Agency for Jewish Education is located in South- field, children in the South- field public schools may be able to get bus transportation from their public school to our school at 11:30 a.m. Parents should inquire. By offering this program we are hoping to serve working parents and provide enriching secular and Judaic experiences for Jewish children. The summer program will be June 24-Aug. 17. This pro- gram is for children 18 months-5 years. There will be water play, arts and crafts, cooking, songs and outdoor fun, all with an experienced staff. The nursery also is of- fering extended hours. The regular nursery school offers a pre-school program with a variety of experiences for the young child.
