Dr. Mark Rubens Dr. Mark Rubens, 35, of San Diego, Calif., formerly of Detroit, died May 22. Dr. Rubens was an or- thopedic surgeon. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan medical school. He did a fellowship in spinal surgery at Baylor University. Dr. Rubens leaves his wife, Judith; son, Andrew; daughter, Laura; parents, Ben and Eileen of West Bloomfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Lawrence and Margo of San Diego, Calif., Allan and Lola of Ann Arbor; and his sister, Karen of West Bloomfield.
