ship. Students at institutions
of higher education in the
metropolitan Detroit area
should send letters of applica-

There is no application
form; letters of application
should outline the student's
qualifications for the scholar-
ship. The Catherine Direnfeld
Scholarship is presented an-
nually to an undergraduate
or graduate student at
Oakland University or at
Wayne State University who
is a member of the Hillel
Foundation, on the basis of
academic strength, need and
service to the Jewish
Community.
