The Midrasha-College of
Jewish Studies will offer a
course in its Summer In-
stitute entitled "Responsa
Literature Seminar." The
course will be taught by Rab-
bi Rod Glogower, Rabbi of the
Hillel Orthodox Union and
adjunct lecturer in Judaic
Studies at the University of
Michigan.
Rabbi Glogower will cover a
selection of Jewish case law
including questions regar-
ding the Holocaust, warfare,
hunting and medical ethics.
A reading knowledge of
Hebrew is helpful. The class
will meet at 10 a.m.-noon
Tuesdays, May 28, June 4, 18,
25, July 2 and 9 at the United
Hebrew Schools building. The
course is open to the com-
munity. There is a charge.
Students pursuing a
Midrasha degree can receive
1 1/2 Master's credit or Teacher
Certification credit.
