Dr. Sandberg, a graduate of Wayne State University' Medical School, is a practic- ing endocrinologist in Southfield and is chief of en- docrinology and metabolism at Sinai Hospital. He is an associate professor of medicine at SWU Medical School. He has been president of the Medical School Alum- ni Association and with his wife Lois has been president of the Anthony Wayne Socie- ty for which he has been awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award by WSU Medical School. Dr. Sandberg has been the recipient of the State of Israel Maimonides Award for his work on behalf of Israel Bonds.
