Shaarey Zedek
Public Access TV

Shaarey Zedek Productions
is a Public Access TV produc-
tion team sponsored by Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek.
The group uses Jewish
themes.
Their latest program, call-
ed "Gasmasks and Roses" in-
terviews Arline Gould, presi-
dent of Hadassah, who was in
Israel during the Gulf war.
Tapes of all Shaarey Zedek
Productions are available
through the Shaarey Zedek
Library.
Programs are produced
under the auspices of the
media outreach subcommit-
tee: Mary Freedland, Phyllis
Friedman, Geri Levit, Ruth
Miller, Francine Mengen,
Susan Nusholtz, Mimi Rob-
bins and Marjorie Saulson.

JNF Women
Plan Installation

The Women of Jewish Na-
tional Fund will hold their in-
stallation of officers noon May
21 at Temple Emanu-El.
Doris Markel will be install-
ed for a fourth term as presi-
dent. Bess Axelrod, program
chairman, will be installing
officer. Vivian Beresh will
deliver the invocation.
A musical program, "A Pot-
pourri of Yiddish Folk Songs
and Broadway Show Tunes,"
will feature Harriet Gold-
man, vocalist and Morrine
Silverman, pianist.
Other officers to be install-

president of fund-raising; Bea
Feigelman, fund-raising co-

Accountants' Unit
Plans Seminar

B'nai B'rith Accountants'
Unit will hold a seminar
6:30-9 p.m. May 22 at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Com-
munity Center.
The speaker will be
Lawrence F. Schiller, at-
torney, and the topic will be
"Current Issues of Retire-
ment Plans."
The program will qualify
for, two hours of C.P.E. credit.
A deli buffet dinner will be
served and there is a charge.

Russian Cookbook
Signing, Sale

Resettlement Service has
published its first cookbook of
Russian recipes, With A Rus-
sian Flavor, written by a
group of elderly, new
American women residing
in Teitel Federation Apart-
ments.
A book signing featuring
the authors and the recipes of
this cookbook will be held 7-9
pan. May 23 at Book Beat,
26010 Greenfield Road, Oak
Park. Samples of the recipes
will be served.
All proceeds will benefit

JWV Auxiliary
Meeting

The Department of
Michigan Ladies Auxiliary of
the Jewish War Veterans will
conduct their department

the NEC meeting held in
