Alice Blumberg will return
to the Maple-Drake Jewish
Community Center's For
Women Only Club for her 8th
annual spring concert 11 a.m.
May 23.
Ms. Blumberg began her
career at the age of four. Us-
ing her professional name,
Alice Kaye, she sang on an ex-
cursion boat which ran from
Cleveland to Cedar Point. She
went on to radio and later
toured the country with Kay
Ballard, Frank Gorshin, Jack
Soo and Larch Storch. Ms.
Blumberg has performed for
local organizations and is a
soloist with the Temple
Emanu-El choir.
There is no charge for the
concert.

dealing with problems faced
by youths and families today
previews at the Attic Theatre
May 16-19, and opens
Wednesday, May 22. The
show runs through June 16.
All performances are co-
sponsored by The Metro
and Comerica
Times
Incorporated.
Performances of Three Ways
Home are Wednesdays at 7
p.m., Thursdays and Fridays
at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 5 and
9 p.m., and Sundays at 2 and
7 p.m.
Scheduled events include
an Afterglow, catered by
Dunleavy'z, following the
opening night performance
on May 22; Talkback, where
audience members have the
opportunity to ask questions
of the actors, director and pro-
duction staff, following the
Wednesday, May 29 perfor-
mance; and a 2 p.m. matinee
performance on Wednesday,
June 2.
