Dennison as Civil War photo- grapher Mathew Brady, will make its world premiere on May 17-19, for one weekend only, at the Lila Jones Johnson Theatre, Royal Oak (Oakland Community Col- lege Campus). Brady shares his life story — his rise in the new field of photography, the gamble he took in sending teams to document the Civil War, and his own mystification with the power of the camera. Brady of Broadway also recreates the dramatic Civil War lantern-slide show that Brady was working on at the end of his life, but which he never presented.
