Cantor Simon Spiro will
present a concert 7:30 p.m.
May 29, at Adat Shalom Syn-
agogue. The performance will
feature Yiddish, Chasidic and
Israeli music, with several
compositions in English with
Jewish themes.
Cantor Spiro has conducted
services in England's premier
synagogues, as well as having
performed concerts for near-
ly 10 years.
Tickets may be purchased
at the door.
The event is sponsored by
the Synagogue's Adult Study
Commission and is co-chaired
by Nancy Handelman- and
Harriet Edith Kaplan. For in-

Extends Run
The Jewish Ensemble
Theatre has scheduled nine
additional performances of its
current production, Cantorial
by Ira Levin.
Evening performances are
scheduled for May 13, 14, 16,
21, 22, 23, 25 and 26. The per-
formance on May 25 begins at
8:45 p.m. All other evening
performances begin at 8 p.m.
An additional matinee perfor-
mance has been scheduled for
2 p.m. May 16.
All performances are in the
DeRoy Theatre at the Maple-
Drake Jewish Community
