ore than 30 displays of art, sculpture
jewelry and weaving adorned the
Maple-Drake Jewish Community
Center on April 28. The event was
"Senior Showcase: Art From a Mature
Perspective," sponsored by the Center's Senior
Adult Department.
Hundreds of visitors browsed through works
created by 100 local Jewish artists ranging in
age from 55-92. Adding to the day were senior
entertainers, including the Jewish Center dance
troupes, Senior Adult Choir, and vocalists Pearl
Davidson and Arthur Greenwald.
