Sets Confirmation
Twenty-two teen-agers of
Adat Shalom Synagogue will
celebrate their confirmation
in a special Shabbat service,
dinner and program 6:30 p.m.
May 17 at the synagogue. The
evening will also mark the
culmination of Nosh 'n
Drash, the synagogue's week-
ly high school dinner/study
program.
Those being confirmed are:

will hold a youth Shabbat ser-
vice 9 a.m. May 18 that will
highlight the accomplish-
ments of the children of syn-
agogue members.
Honored at this service will
be students attending junior
congregation, Beth Shalom
children who attend Hebrew
day schools, Beth Shalom
graduates of the Community
High School and those
students who have been in-
volved in noteworthy ac-
tivities in the course of the
year.
The service will be followed
by a children's kiddush spon-
sored by the Beth Shalom
school board and religious
school parents.

confirmation exercises May
18 during Shabbat services.
The confirmands are: Julie

Rabbi Bruce Aft of the
Agency for Jewish Education
will address the confirmands.
