On May 8, from 7:15-9:30
p.m., SPACE will offer two
drop-in discussion groups for
men and women who are
widowed and for men and
women who are either
separated or divorced. Pre-
registration is not required
for either group.
On May 14, from 7:15-9:30
p.m., SPACE will sponsor a
workshop, "Goal Setting and
Attainment" by Judith
Quayle. Pre-registration is
mandatory.
On May 15, from 7:15-9:30
p.m., SPACE will offer a topic
drop-in discussion group en-
titled, "Ending A Relation-
ship With Honesty." No pre-
registration is required.
On May 21, SPACE will
sponsor an evening workshop,
"Stress and the Single
Parent," by Gail Shiffman
Hennes. Pre-registration is
mandatory.
On May 22 and 29, from
7:15-9:30 p.m., SPACE will of-
fer discussion groups for those
who are widowed, and those
who are either eparated or
divorced.
Drop-in discussion groups
are offered each Wednesday at
the SPACE office. Pre-
registration is not required.
Divorce support groups and
widowed support groups are
offered each month on Mon-
day evenings. Pre-registration
is mandatory by calling
SPACE, 258-6606.
SPACE — Room to Grow for
Changing Families, is a non-
sectarian community service
of National Council of Jewish
Women, Greater Detroit
Section.

Chocolate Jubilee
For Young Adults

Young adults are invited to
a chocolate jubilee 7:30 p.m.
May 23 at Monchelle La-
moure in the Bloomfield Cen-
tre Office Building. The
gathering, which is open to
singles and couples, is spon-
sored by the Jewish Welfare
Federation Young Adult
Division.
Mark Schlussel, president
of Federation, will discuss
current issues in the Jewish
community and the need for
more people to become in-
volved in leadership roles
in Federation and the corn-
munity.
The gathering is being
organized by Pamela Lippitt
and Jeffrey Sternberg, chair-
men of the YAD Outreach
Committee.
There is a charge and space
is limited. For reservations,

Lunch And Learn

B'nai B'rith Michigan Re-
gional Council and the Mid-
rasha-College of Jewish
Studies will present the last
lecture in their spring
"Lunch and Learn" series
noon May 16 at United
Hebrew Schools.
Rabbi Norman Roman of
Temple Kol Ami will speak on
"What Jews Should Know
About the Christian Bible." A
kosher lunch will be served
and the lecture will begin at
12:30 p.m.
Reservations are required.

ADL Seeks
Survivors

New York — The Anti-
Defamation League is seek-
ing to locate certain Holo-
caust survivors in response to
a request from the U.S. De-
partment of Justice Office of
Special Investigations (OSI).
The call is for persons who
may have knowledge regar-
ding the persecution and
murder of civilians in the
Joniskis district of Lithuania
in the summer of 1941. Both
English-speaking and non-
English-speaking witnesses
will be welcomed.
