presented Spring Fantasy
'91, an annual fashion show
and boutique shopping on
April 24. In addition to wat-
ching the colorful fashions
by Jacobson's, the crowd was
touting the health club
facilities.
"We have fabulous classes
and excellent teachers," said
Joan Epstein, co-chair of
the event. Marci Zeman,
chairperson of WHC and
Valerie Ettinger, co-chair
of the event, agreed.
The newest addition at the
health club is personal
trainers. "We are keeping
up with the times," said
Bruce Landgarten, assis-
tant JCC director.
Some of the healthy people
in the crowd included: Carol
Wolfe, Beth Borson, June
Egrin, Marcy Kass, Hope
Silverman, Cathy Slavik,
Susan Susi and Tracey

silent auction on Sunday
May 5 at the Glen Oaks
Country Club from 1. to 4
p.m. A presentation from the
Tiferet Gallery in Oak Park
will include works of Israeli
artists, including Dubi
Arie, Baruch Nachshon,
Ben Avram and Yosi
Stern. Some of the
Gateway's board of directors

VILLAGE ANTIQUES
Passion for fashion was
this year's theme for the
auction and fashion show
benefiting the Michigan
Chapter Chron's & Colitis
Foundation of America
(CCFA). Almost 400 patrons
attended the April 18 event
at the Ritz Carlton with co-
chairs Carol Roberts and
Ilene Schwartz. Saks Fifth
Avenue provided the bright
fashions. Before the show,
there was a silent auction
featuring weekend trips, gift
certificates, jewelry and
other wonderful items. Some
of the patrons included:
The Village Antiques
Show for the benefit of
Henry Ford Museum and
Greenfield Village will be
held on May 10-12. The show
will host 47 of the country's
top dealers in antique fur-
nishings and include lec-
tures on purchasing anti-
ques and the motor car in
