Graveside Services Fannie Aronson, 87, Dancer, Teacher Exercise regularly. Fannie Aronson, 87, dancer, choreographer and teacher, died April 22. Born in Cork, Ireland, she came to America at 13. She studied with Mar- tha Graham, and was associ- ated with many of the greats of dance such as Katherine Dunham, Jose Limon, Ruth Dennis and Ted Shawn. Ms. Aronson was active with the National Council of Jewish Women and the Bran- deis University National Women's Committee. She devoted 40 years to the Detroit Public Schools and many of her students went on to careers with such groups as Alvin Ailey. Through her Fannie Aron- son Group at the Jewish Com- munity Center, and in her own studio, she established a dance tradition in the city. Ms. Aronson leaves her sister, Alice Grossman; nieces and nephews.
