New Haven, Conn., take

the engagement of their
children, Dr. Linda Chasson
and Gary Preysner.
Linda received her medical
degree from Ohio State Uni-
versity and is completing her
residency in internal medi-
cine and pediatrics at Cleve-
land Metropolitan General
Hospital.
Gary received his MBA
from Yale and is a consultant
in the Financial Institutions
Group of McKinsey and Com-
pany, Inc.
A Spring 1992 wedding is
planned.

Ann Arbor School
Honors Siegels

A community-wide cele-
bration including a buffet din-
ner, music and entertainment
honoring George and Marion
Siegel for their contributions
to the Arm Arbor Jewish com-
munity will take place 6:30
p.m. June 2 at the Michigan
Union.
Dr. Siegel is on the faculty
of the University of Michigan
medical school. Mrs. Siegel
has been a school psychologist
for the Ypsilanti Public
Schools. The Siegels will be
moving to Chicago where Dr.
Siegel has been appointed
chief of neurology at the
Hin e s VA Hospital and co-
chair of the Neurology
Department at the Loyola
medical school.
They were one of the foun-
ding families of the Hebrew
Day School of Ann Arbor. Dr.
Siegel served for four years as
the first president of the day
school, and Mrs. Siegel has
been on the board for many

years. The Siegels were also
among the founders of the
Ann Arbor Jewish Communi-
ty Center.
Dr. Siegel has served on the
board of Ann Arbor United
Jewish Appeal-Jewish Com-
munity Association. Mrs.
Siegel is a life member of
Hada.ssah.
The Siegels have been ac-
tive in the Orthodox Minyan
at the University of Michigan
Hillel, the Ann Arbor Chabad
House and Beth Israel Con-
gregation.
Proceeds of the celebration
will benefit the Hebrew Day
School of Ann Arbor. For in-
formation or reservations,
