Young Adults
Hear Rabbi Loss

Rabbi Harold Loss of Tem-
ple Israel will address the
Jewish Welfare Federation
Young Adult Division on the
intifada, aliyah from the
Soviet Union, the Gulf War
and prospects for peace at
7:30 p.m. April 23 at Adat
Shalom Synagogue.
The talk, titled "The Arab-
Israeli Conflict: Today," is the
last of a series of YAD
political awareness lectures.
Since joining Temple Israel
in 1971, Rabbi Loss has been
active in the community. He
sits on Federation's Board of
Governors, and on its Leader-
ship Development and
Israel/Overseas committees.
A board member of Jewish
Family Service, Rabbi Loss
serves on the Michigan Ad-
visory Board of the Anti-
Defamation League, the
Michigan Board of Rabbis
and the United Jewish Ap-
peal Rabbinic Cabinet.

The Workmen's Circle will
host the Workmen's Circle
Great Lakes regional board
meetings April 27-28. Includ-

Rivera's Labor Legacy, the
Detroit Murals, with remarks
