2 teaspoon finely grated

lemon rind
Topping:
1 teaspoon butter or
margarine
2 tablespoons walnuts,
coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon brown sugar
pinch cinnamon
In serving bowl, mix
together buttermilk, yogurt
and lemon rind. Set aside. In
small skillet, melt butter and
add walnuts, brown sugar and
cinnamon. Cook over high
heat for 1 minute or less, stir-
ring constantly, until mixture
is nicely browned. Sprinkle
over buttermilk bisque in
bowl. Serve cool.

SWEET
STRAWBERRY SOUP
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
3 /4 cup apricot juice
3 /4 cup fresh ripe
strawberries, hulled
and halved
2 apricot halves (may be
canned)
1-2 teaspoons honey or to
taste
1 unhulled strawberry
for garnish
In small saucepan, mix
cornstarch to a smooth paste
with 2 tablespons of the apri-
cot juice. Set aside. Pour re-
maining juice, strawberries
and apricots into blender jar
and whirl for 10 seconds to
puree. Add to cornstarch mix-
ture. Bring to boil over
medium heat, stirring con-
stantly. Remove from heat
and stir in honey to taste.
Pour into bowl. Garnish with
strawberry. Serve hot or cold.

New Exhibits
In Discovery Room

"The Discovery Room: A
Jewish Experience" at the
Maple-Drake Jewish Corn-
munity Center houses two
new exhibits. These are:
"Joshua and the Battle of
Jericho" and "I Can See
Myself At Yavneh Academy,"
designed by Yavneh Academy,
the Reform Hebrew day
school.
Room hours are: Monday
Tuesday and Thursday, 10
a.m.-1 p.m.; Wednesday, noon-
6 p.m; and Sunday, 10 a.m.-2
p.m.

issue of The Jewish News
announcing the retirement
of Oak Park Mayor Char-
lotte Rothstein, it should
have said Gerald Naftaly,
not Robert, is running for
