To Hear Littmann

David Littmann, first vice
president of Manufacturers
National Bank, will be
featured at the second
Economic Forum luncheon
sponsored by the Jewish
Welfare Federation, April 29
at the Radisson Plaza in
Southfield.
Senior economist at
Manufacturers, Mr. Littmann
will discuss the nation's
financial institutions and
their outlook for com-
petitiveness at the noon-1:30
p.m. gathering.
The Economic Forum is
sponsored by Federation to
promote an interest in its ac-
tivities and to discuss impor-
tant political, economic and
social issues. Future sessions
will be held June 17 and Aug.
12.
The series is being organiz-
ed by Harvey Grace, Judge
Susan Moiseev, Dr. Conrad
Giles and Michael Feldman.

Busses Available
For Holocaust Event

Busses will be available to
transport those who wish to
attend the State of Michigan
official Holocaust com-
memoration noon April 17 at
the Michigan State Library
and Museum in Lansing.
There is a nominal charge of
$1 per person.

Project Chametz
Gets 1,700 Pounds

Project Chametz, an annual
program sponsored by the
Jewish Community Council
and The Jewish News, col-
lected 1,700 pounds of food for
the hungry. It is almost
twice the amount of food col-
lected last year.
