U-M Hillel Sets
Events For Week

On April 8, Daniel Levitus,
executive director for the
Atlanta-based Center for
Democratic Renewal, will
speak on "Anti-Semitism and
White Supremacy: Positive
Responses to Hate Groups," at
7:30 p.m. at University of
Michigan Hillel.
On April 11, the Hillel
Social Committee is sponsor-
ing "A Night at the Nec-
tarine," beginning at 9 p.m. at
the Nectarine Ballroom.
There is a cover charge.
On April 12, the Grads and
Young Professionals' "Veggie
Shabbat Potluck: Songs from
Psychology," will be held at
7:30 p.m., Lawyer's Club
Lounge, Law Quad. Professor
Drew Westen will talk about
his life as a psychology pro-
fessor at the University of
Michigan and as a satirical
songwriter. He will share
some of his songs, including
his pop hit "Oy to be a Goy on
Christmas."
On April 13, the Reform
Chavura will host a Havdalah
service, 8:45 p.m. at Hillel.
After Havdalah, the
chavurah will go on a hayride.
Reservations are required.
